HOW TO PERFORM FLATTENING AND RESURFACING

OF 200 GRIT STONE

  • More aggressive stone for bevel convexing or blending of angles for convex sharpening.

  • The first step in establishing bevel geometry

  • Good for small chip removal / bevel sharpening

  • The stone surface can be further flattened before sharpening begins, allowing a more accurate shaping of the geometry
